Bath is a tremendously cosmopolitan city, with a great variety of pubs to have a drink in. The Boater over looks the canal and river Avon at Poultney Bridge. Whilst the Pig and Fiddle, newly expanded, has a really great atmosphere and is a favorite of Rugby supporters, for a few drinks before and after Bath play. It is not unusual to find one or two players in, although this is generally only after the game!
